I was approached by a local entrepreneur to create a website for her local nail and beauty salon specialising in nail treatments for the Manchester area.   The brief was simple, to provide a simple, colorful site which would show off her range of nail and beauty services and a photo gallery of her nail designs.  I incorporated a gallery on the home page using an open source platform while also designing and creating a price list to fit with the general style of the shop.

This is actually version 2 of the website and shows off some of the latest CSS3 techniques including custom fonts, rounded DIVs, text shadows and gradients.

The website is currently being optimised to improve its rankings within Google and the other major search engines.  I’ve been carrying out on-site SEO with Keyword research, link building and using rich, informative copyright.  The site currently occupies page 3 of Google but I hope to achieve a front page ranking within the next few months.
